Dana Edwards
Dana is a Licentiate member and holds a Master's in Ballroom, Rhythm as well as Theatre Arts with AIDA and DanceVision and in International Ballroom and Latin with Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and World DanceSport Federation (WDSF).
She is a USA Dance Chair of Officials, Adjudicator, Invigilator, Scrutineer and since 1997 a Collegiate Chair of Officials & an Adjudicator.
Dana is also the Director of social media and will be serving on the USISTD National committee.
She has retired as an American and Canadian American professional American Smooth and Rhythm as well as a NDCA Open Professional Champion.
She has competed in International Latin and Standard however, she found her main success as a NDCA Professional American Smooth and American Rhythm Champion and a Fred Astaire Professional American and Canadian/American Smooth Champion. Received "Top Teacher Awards" from FADS and was in the Arnold Sports Festival. Dana has also worked on an animated film for the Walt Disney Film Studios. And has served on the AIDA National Committee since 2016.
She has 24 years of teaching experience. She worked for Fred Astaire Dance studios for 9 years have also owned her own dance studio called Invitation to Dance in Columbus, Ohio since 2001.
Dana was the head coach for the competitive and formation teams for the Ohio State University DanceSport team from 2009 to 2012.
